USING PLANT EXTRACTS TO HEAL AND NURTURE YOUR SKIN

MEET CYNTHIA

I'm a biochemist and started my career doing research at the Stanford School of Medicine. Outside of my more formal lab research, I have a deep interest in plant medicine and truly believe it is the best approach to health and healing. I started my company when my father was struggling with recurrent bouts of skin cancer on his face and neck. I went looking for plants that would help. While reading through research articles, I found several that discussed Nerium Oleander extract (NOE) and its affect on cancer cells. NOE was shown to be a compound of interest in killing melanoma cells (1). This set me on the course of producing a moisturizer with NOE that would heal and nurture his skin. NOE contains a potent antioxidant that reduces the effects of aging and sun damage to skin. So not only is it healing your skin, it will reduce fine lines and sun spots due to overexposure to the sun.
